General Labourers required!!
Required immediately for various locations throughout the G.T.A. and
Peel Region light and heavy general labourers. Days, afternoons and
midnights shifts available. You must be able to provide your own
safety boots and 2 previous work references before you will be

POSITION:
Manual Lathe Operator
Skille Lathe Operators generally work in the
specialized production departments or tool rooms of
factories, tool shops, or job shops directed by a
section or shop supervisor. You will be working indoors
in heated, well lighted and well ventilated areas. you
will be exposed to noise and dust.
You Should Be Able To:
 | Work within precise limits or standards of
accuracy |
 | Rate information using standards that can be
measured or checked |
 | See detail in objects or drawings and recognize
slight difference |
 | Look at flat drawings or pictures and visualize
as solid objects |
 | Calculate the proper lathe rpm for a piece of
high-carbon steel 25mm in diameter. use a speed of
16m/min |
 | You should be able to read and comprehend |
 | You should be able to prepare a plan of
operation for a specified job |
 | You should be able to demonstrate analytical
skills and be detail oriented in setting up and
lathes based on blueprints and other specifications

POSITION:
HVAC Technicians
Performs routine repairs and maintenance on heating,
ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
including air distribution machinery, pneumatic and
digital controls, hot and chilled water distribution,
and variable volume systems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 | Performs troubleshooting and repair of building
distribution systems including low pressure steam
distribution, heat exchangers, hot and cold deck
systems, air handlers, and pneumatic and digital
controls |
 | Performs HAVC system inspections and
manufacturer-recommended preventive maintenance |
 | Performs major component replacement work in
conjunction with central energy management and
control system operators |
 | Performs seasonal overhauls and instructs repair
teams in transition of systems form heating to
cooling and vice versa |
 | Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance
of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous
improvement of workplace safety and environmental
practices |
 | Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as
assigned. |
REQUIREMENTS:
 | High school diploma or GED with 2 to 3 years
experience directly related to the duties and
responsibilities specified |
 | Knowledge of HVAC installation, troubleshooting,
repair and maintenance |
 | Ability to perform preventive maintenance
according to published guidelines |
 | Ability to read, comprehend, follow, and enforce
safety procedures |
 | Knowledge of refrigerant recovery |
 | Working knowledge of HVAC and associated systems
employing computer-based monitoring and control
devises |
 | Knowledge of mechanical equipment, plumbing,
utilities, distribution systems, and controls
including maintenance and troubleshooting |
 | Ability to repair and/ or replace building
mechanical systems components, including
programmable logic controls |
 | Ability to use computer-based monitoring and
control devices in maintaining and troubleshooting
HVAC system |
 | Ability to use hand and power tools applicable
to trade

POSITION:
Forklift Mechanic
Repairs, adjusts, and overhauls a wide variety of
forklifts and other battery-powered, material-handling
equipment and a conveyor drive line
DUTIES
 | Diagnoses sources of trouble or failure |
 | Performs the following preventive maintenance
and repair duties on forklifts, stackers, electric
carts, electric tow trucks, transporters, and
battery chargers |
 | Removes and replaces electric motors; adjusts
bearing; replaces brushes; repairs, fabricates, and
replaces bushing units, cleans, adjusts, and repairs
solid-state and electric control panels; and
overhauls, repairs and adjusts differential and
hydraulic assemblies |
 | Fabricates and modifies parts of equipment,
involving the use of grinders, drill presses, air
compressors, and common hand and power tools of the
electric and machine shop |
 | Maintains electric charging equipment and makes
minor repairs |
 | Lubricates and performs preventive maintenance
on an in floor conveyor driveline |
 | Cleans and services wet-cell industrial
batteries |
 | Maintains a maintenance log |
 | May assist in developing electrical and
mechanical specifications, schematic diagrams, and
sketches |
 | Performs related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
 | Mechanical and electrical systems of
battery-powered, material-handling equipment |
 | Basic electrical and electronic principles |
 | Bolt grade and torque specs |
 | Modern practices, materials, and tools used in
the trade |
 | Operate grinders, drill presses, air
compressors, hoists, cranes, parts cleaning
equipment, and modern test equipment |
 | Work from schematic diagrams, drawings, and
blueprints |
 | Manual dexterity to use hand tools |
 | Completion of high school. Coursework or
training in mathematics, mechanics, and repair of
electrical or electronic equipment is desirable |
 | 2 to 3 years of experience in the maintenance or
repair of electric material handling equipment,
including forklifts |

POSITION:
Glass/Metal Fabrication
Glass/Metal Fabricator required immediately for the Brampton area.
This qualified individual will have a minimum of 2 years experience
with cnc machining within the sheet metal industry. This temporary
to permanent opportunity will also require overtime. Strong command
of the English language and written communications skill a must.
